How to Charge a Dead Battery

It is very easy. Just pull the working car close to your car, open both hoods and shut off the other car. Then use the red cable to connect to the working battery terminal and then attach the red cable to your dead battery’s positive terminal. Do the same with the negative or black cables. Then start the engine on the working car and let it run for two full minutes. Then go ahead and start your car. Let them both run for two more minutes and then remove all of the cables in reverse order (your negative, the good car’s negative, your positive and the good car’s positive). Let the car run in place for a few minutes, and then you can drive.
